Personal Care Assistant for Children with Disabilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to provide hands-on care and support to children with disabilities in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with feeding, medication administration, and other medical needs as required.
  • Support students with physical, emotional, and behavioral challenges in a classroom setting.
  • Follow school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 6 months experience in a related field, such as behavioral health or pediatrics.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
