Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join Therapy 2000 in serving families in the Southeast Houston/Gulfgate area.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time/part-time/prn position based in our South Houston division. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive speech therapy evaluations, develop personalized home exercise programs, and collaborate with caregivers and healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough speech therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients' caregivers to promote effective communication and motor skills.
  • Collaborate with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
Requirements:
  • A current/active license to practice speech language pathology in the state of Texas.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and resources based on business needs.
  • Proficiency in using common workplace technology, including laptop computers, phones, email, and web browsers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric speech language pathologist.
  • Experience in a home-health setting.
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).
  • Bilingualism in English and Spanish.
Compensation:

$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
