Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technician to join our team in Raleigh, NC. As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in a CLIA-certified mobile laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of licensed NP/PA providers
• Patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs
• IV starts and blood draws (as permitted by state law)
• Splint application
• Wound care
• Work directly with point of care laboratory equipment including operation, calibration, and maintenance
• Perform EKGs
• Assist NP/PAs in the daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit
• Documentation
• Supply and stocking

Requirements:

• Medical Technician with IV Certification
• Basic Certification with North Carolina, EMT License (hiring credential only)
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• BLS, American Heart Association
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
