Job Summary:
The Mobile Care Services team at WakeMed is responsible for providing critical and non-critical transport services to patients in need. As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will play a vital role in this team, providing patient care and operating ambulances to ensure timely and safe transportation. Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality care to patients, while also maintaining the cleanliness and proper operation of our ambulances.

Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care and operate ambulances as part of the Medical Center's critical and non-critical transport program
• Document BLS patient conditions and care as needed, adhering to the scope of practice for an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic
• Clean and maintain the proper operation of ambulance-associated equipment and work areas
• Perform routine daily inspections and preventive maintenance of ambulances
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• 1 Year Clinical - Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certificate in Emergency Medical Science or Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Science
• Emergency Medical Technician - Basic or Higher certification
• Maintain Vehicle Operator Insurability

Work Schedule:
Every weekend, with 3-12 hour shifts per week
