Clinical Specialist Job Description

The Clinical Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of data entry services provided to our patients, physician offices, and insurance carriers. This position is responsible for handling inbound documents efficiently and ensuring that all patient demographic and insurance information is accurately captured and completed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter orders and capture patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Monitor assigned daily worklists to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous medical office experience required.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Work Environment:

This position is based in a standard office environment. The majority of the time is spent sitting, standing, and walking. Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs is also required. Less than 50% of the time, the position may involve stooping, kneeling, or crawling, as well as climbing and balancing. The ability to carry and lift up to 10-20 pounds is also necessary. The position requires the ability to see, speak, and hear to communicate with patients.
