Key Responsibilities- Property Maintenance: Oversee the implementation and execution of preventive maintenance programs to ensure the preservation and upkeep of all buildings and equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train maintenance technicians, providing guidance and direction to ensure the completion of tasks and projects.
- Emergency Response: Provide continuous coverage for emergency situations and coordinate with the community manager to ensure prompt response and resolution.
- Inspections and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds, identifying deficiencies and communicating with the community manager to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for maintenance and repairs.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the project vehicle, including daily mileage tracking and routine maintenance.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, community managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements.
- Experience: 5 years of maintenance technician experience, preferably in property maintenance; previous experience in commercial or multi-unit residential property is desirable.
- Licenses and Certifications: Maintains current license/certificate and/or specialized skills in at least one (or more) of the following building trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire protection, or mechanical.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 55 pounds independently and support team lift with reasonable accommodations; indoor/outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperatures exceeding 90 degrees at times.
