POSITION OVERVIEW

The Night Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service to all customers of The Golub Corporation. This role oversees the store's evening operations in the absence of the Night Manager, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide consistent, friendly, and efficient customer service.
  • Supervise the night crew, ensuring that all shelves are stocked and organized to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Manage inventory by ordering and receiving products, maintaining optimal stock levels at all times.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workstation, adhering to established standards.
  • Oversee all aspects of the store's third shift operations, typically two to three nights per week.
  • Monitor shelf conditions and stock levels, ensuring proper product placement and visibility.
  • Assist in scheduling Night Crew Associates and manage Front End and Office operations.
  • Support the ordering of merchandise and supplies for the Grocery department.
  • Conduct training and development for new Night Crew Associates.
  • Implement and uphold corporate sanitation and pricing procedures.
  • Control inventory shrinkage through adherence to company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage team performance and achieve objectives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires:

  • Exposure to cold environments.
  • Constant standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting of items up to 75 lbs.
