Job Description

Job Summary:

The Field Engineer - Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the closeout process, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. This includes redlining, testing, and auditing to guarantee that all infrastructure is installed to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Closeout Process: The Field Engineer - Project Coordinator will oversee the closeout process, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
  • Redlining: The Field Engineer - Project Coordinator will be responsible for redlining, ensuring that all changes are accurately documented and submitted to the engineering team.
  • Testing and Auditing: The Field Engineer - Project Coordinator will conduct thorough testing and auditing to guarantee that all infrastructure is installed to design specifications.
  • Lessons Learned: The Field Engineer - Project Coordinator will work with the engineering team to document lessons learned, ensuring that all knowledge is captured and shared.
  • Warranties: The Field Engineer - Project Coordinator will be responsible for gathering all necessary information to submit for warranties.
  • Product Submittals: The Field Engineer - Project Coordinator will complete product submittals, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Labels and RFI's: The Field Engineer - Project Coordinator will assist with printing labels and overseeing the RFI process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Design and Shop Drawings: The Field Engineer - Project Coordinator will work with the engineering team to verify and submit design and shop drawings, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of commercial low-voltage/structured cabling experience required.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project); ability to work well with others; ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
