Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute the installation of sophisticated, multi-phase patient monitoring systems that integrate IT infrastructure and medical equipment in various environments. Conduct thorough technical assessments of system configurations to guarantee system performance during installations; identify and rectify electronic, networking, and mechanical issues.
  • Offer tailored technical solutions that align with customer needs, facilitating the shift from a reactive service model to a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a regional team, working alongside a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders, including clinical staff, sales, and service partners. Manage project resources and tasks to enable team members to concentrate on customer outcomes.
  • Complete all administrative tasks in compliance with established company, state, and federal regulations and timelines, including service work orders, expense reports, installation documentation, and other relevant paperwork.
  • Willingness to travel is essential. Expect to spend an average of 1-4 hours daily driving, with potential for overnight stays and travel by air or train.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT or electronics, preferably in a service role within healthcare settings. Familiarity with patient monitoring systems, telemetry, ventilators, and defibrillators is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in network configuration and troubleshooting, with a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or the commitment to obtain it within six months of employment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Capable of meeting the physical, cognitive, and environmental requirements of this field service position, with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to work in various settings, including remote and healthcare environments, while adhering to all necessary protocols.
  • Flexibility to work hours based on business needs, including overtime, weekends, and on-call duties.
  • Compliance with personal protective equipment requirements.
