Warehouse Loader

At C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Loader to join our team. As a Loader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of merchandise from staging areas to trailers.

• Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers, ensuring damage is avoided and products are properly secured.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Inspect trailers for damage before loading and ensure all necessary safety protocols are followed.
• Utilize RF handhelds and/or voice to verify the loading of pallets and ensure accuracy.
• Wrap pallets and stretch wrap to prevent damage during transportation.
• Operate battery-changing hoists to maintain equipment and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
• Complete inspection forms on equipment operated and report any issues or concerns to management.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

• Warehouse environments, including freezer, perishable, and grocery warehouses.

• Certified forklift and pallet jack operator.
• Ability to work safely and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Reliability and ability to maintain satisfactory attendance.
• Ability to produce quality work and maintain required productivity expectations.
• Ability to operate required materials handling equipment (MHE).

• Standing and walking on surfaces such as carpet, tile, and concrete.
• Lifting up to 60 pounds and carrying objects.
• Occasional climbing, crawling, kneeling, and talking.
• Continuous handling of hearing, seeing, and repetitive movement using both hands and feet.
