Northrop Grumman seeks a skilled Mechanical Component Assembler to prepare and assemble various marine components and products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assemble various marine components and products where methods, sequences, and tooling are normally established.
  • Direct others assigned to help.
  • Perform additional responsibilities including receiving work assignments and instructions from supervision.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment focusing on assembly, disassembly, maintenance, repair, and rework to include hydraulic, mechanical, and rotational elements.
  • Experience with interpreting blueprints, sketches, manufacturing instructions, and knowledge of GD&T.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in Automotive, Naval, or Aviation maintenance or manufacturing.
  • Ability to operate cranes and forklifts.

Compensation Package: The estimated annual salary range for this position is $54,000 - $67,000 per year. Northrop Grumman offers a competitive compensation package that includes benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
