Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler and Technician to join our team at Northrop Grumman. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling various marine components and products, adhering to established methods and sequences. Your expertise will ensure the highest quality standards are met, and our customers receive reliable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and assemble various marine components and products, adhering to established methods and sequences.
• Disassemble diaphragms, clean, and assemble various components, subassemblies, covers, panels, preformed and straight pipe, flanges, fittings, valves, gears, and levers.
• Set up and operate drills to drill, tap, and ream holes, ensuring precision and accuracy.
• Position and assemble components to test stand configuration, verifying conformance to specification.
• Sign off completed operations and maintain MI packages in an organized manner.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing or maintenance environments, focusing on assembly, disassembly, maintenance, repair, and rework, including hydraulic, mechanical, and rotational elements.
• Experience with interpreting blueprints, sketches, manufacturing instructions, and knowledge of GD&T.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as indicators, calipers, micrometers, bore micrometers, height gages, thread gauges, and other hand tools.
• US citizenship required.
