We're seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service to our residential and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities- Service and repair gas appliances, including fireplaces, tankless and tank water heaters, generators, pool heaters, grills, water conditioning, and outdoor living equipment.
- Diagnose problems and repair propane and natural gas appliances.
- Perform safety and regulatory inspections as required.
- Install propane gas piping systems, tanks, cylinders, appliances, and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
- Ensure safe work habits and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Compliance with Schagrin Home Comfort Products and DOT drug testing policy.
- Minimum three years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to operate various power tools.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
