As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment, while also contributing to the success of our organization.
Job Summary
The Biomedical Equipment Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for assigned medical equipment, including analysis, calibration, installation, and upgrades.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical equipment and be able to troubleshoot and repair complex issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and maintenance for assigned medical equipment
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with vendors and clients to obtain completion of equipment support activities
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace environment
- Participate in annual technical competency assessments and training
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- One year of experience repairing and maintaining biomedical equipment (preferred)
- General knowledge of computer networking and programming
- General knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Must have physical strength, proper coordination, and motor skills to perform assigned tasks
