Job Description:

Goodwood Brewing Company is seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our front-of-house operations and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Front-of-House Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional care.
  • Manage Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Drive Sales and Revenue: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and promoting our menu and services.
  • Improve Guest Experience: Continuously evaluate and improve our guest experience, including menu offerings, service standards, and overall ambiance.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of supplies, including food, beverages, and equipment.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety standards, employment laws, and financial regulations.
Requirements:
  • 2+ Years of Restaurant Management Experience: Proven track record of success in managing front-of-house operations, including staff management, sales and revenue growth, and guest experience improvement.
  • Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, communicate effectively with staff and guests, and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong Business Acumen: Understanding of restaurant operations, including financial management, inventory control, and sales and revenue growth strategies.
  • Customer Service Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have an outstanding dining experience.
