Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Donatos Pizza. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality and Service Systems
    • Develop and implement quality and service systems to ensure consistency and excellence in all aspects of restaurant operations.
    • Coach and train team members to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality food products.
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Oversee the opening and closing of the restaurant, ensuring that all administrative procedures are completed and that the restaurant is properly secured.
    • Manage the inventory of all stocked items, vendor orders, and invoice processing.
    • Ensure that all team members understand and follow the food safety and personal hygiene standards required by Donatos and the local Health Department.
  • Team Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to help them improve their performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive their orders accurately and within the quoted promise times.
    • Anticipate the needs of customers and remove existing or potential service barriers.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage the inventory of all stocked items, vendor orders, and invoice processing.
    • Ensure that all team members understand and follow the inventory management procedures.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation
    • Ensure that all team members understand and follow the food safety and personal hygiene standards required by Donatos and the local Health Department.
    • Conduct regular food safety and sanitation inspections to ensure that the restaurant meets all regulatory requirements.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
    • Experience
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
      • Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
    • Skills
      • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
      • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
      Working Conditions

The Restaurant Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and other hazards. The manager will be required to stand and/or walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and bend and twist frequently.
