Human Resources Director

The City of Woodbury seeks a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the Human Resources Division. This key role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, and labor relations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HR strategies to support the City's business objectives
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
- Administer employee benefits, compensation, and labor relations programs
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances
- Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Develop and manage the HR budget and performance measures
- Supervise HR staff, including HR Technicians, HR Specialists, and HR Senior Coordinators
- 5+ years of experience in HR management
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
