Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, PPE, Safety, SQF, HACCP, and Sanitation guidelines and processes.
  • Carry out lead responsibilities, including planning, assigning, delegating, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Train and oversee new and existing associates, providing on-the-job training and re-training as needed.
  • Coordinate with supervisors to manage rest and meal periods, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Monitor and manage visual checks, including defect, FO's, size, color, quality, waste, yields, and spillage.
  • Responsible for label verification and completing daily required documentation.
  • Oversee product rotation and inventory levels, ensuring First-In-First-Out (FIFO) compliance.
  • Retrieve and understand production schedules to adjust for accurate run time.
  • Communicate with top leadership regarding any issues that may affect operations.
  • Manage bagged salad efficiency, including production rates and BPM.
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in staffing and provide on-the-spot coaching.
  • Enter data into production management systems, including RPDMS and JDE.
  • Calculate yields, Modified OEE, and KPI standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, including identifying and reporting issues to top leadership.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of GMP's, Safety Guidelines, SQF, HACCP, and Sanitation guidelines and processes.
  • 6 months to 2 years of related experience or 6 months of on-the-job training.
  • Knowledgeable in rest and meal breaks, state laws, and time management skills.
  • Ability to influence, communicate effectively, and manage associates across all levels of the organization.
  • Comprehension of basic math and proficiency in computer skills and software knowledge.
  • Willingness to work in a cold environment and flexible schedule.
Physical Work Environment:

This position requires regular use of ladders and catwalks to reach production equipment, working near moving mechanical parts, and exposure to extreme cold for extended periods. The associate will frequently work in high, precarious places and occasionally be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
