Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Marysville Schools. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the district's buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
  • Identify and order replacement parts, and submit requisitions to the Maintenance Director.
  • Prepare reports and keep records, as assigned.
  • Assist other members of the maintenance department in making adjustments, repairs, and alterations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Experience working with HVAC systems.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in building maintenance and repairs or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working Conditions
  • On call 24 hours per day.
  • Exposure to all weather conditions.
  • Some work in confined spaces, dark spaces, dirty work areas.
  • Exposure to hazardous driving conditions.
