Responsibilities- Provide legal and administrative support to attorneys in the office of general counsel
- Assist with transactional legal work, including contract review and drafting
- Support litigation and hearings, including legal and factual research
- Perform records management, tracking, and other administrative tasks
- Communicate with clients, outside counsel, and third parties
- BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university
- Four or more years of experience providing support to practicing attorneys
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workplace
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Paralegal degree or certification
- Previous experience working in the higher education industry or public sector
- Knowledge of Maryland law and laws applicable to research-intensive universities
