About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DVT Engineer to join our development team in San Jose. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and testing our existing and new designs, as well as developing and improving our testing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design Validation testing of hardware and software for new or custom products.
  • Provide validation testing of new hardware for new products to verify that the new design meets all product requirements.
  • Analyze data from validation tests to determine whether systems and processes meet required criteria and specifications.
  • Develop new and improve existing test procedures.
  • Participate in software regression testing.
  • Maintains databases for tracking test results.
Requirements
  • Broad working experience performing optical and stylus surface metrology is an advantage.
  • Proven theoretical understanding of physics and effective problem solving of complex system, software, and hardware issues.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills, fluency in English.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Works precisely and pays close attention to details.
  • Self-motivated, strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
