About the Role:The Registered Nurse will be responsible for managing all aspects of the nursing process and delivering patient-centered care in our ICU. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a RN in an ICU or critical care setting.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
