Job Title: Head of Computer Vision Models

Rhombus Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our computer vision models team. As the Head of Computer Vision Models, you will be responsible for developing and refining our foundation models, applying data-centric AI approaches, and ensuring the quality and integrity of our machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the most effective sources of images and videos for training and evaluation.
  • Configure and deploy devices or software to capture new data as needed.
  • Conduct thorough failure analysis on large GenAI models and machine learning models.
  • Remove duplicates, corrupt files, and irrelevant data.
  • Structure the data into a format that is easy to work with.
  • Prototype novel evaluation and benchmark methods from foundation model literature research.
  • Develop tools for analyzing and visualizing data.
  • Design and implement experiments for engineering studies and large-scale user studies.
Requirements:
  • BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong background in statistical data analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with in-depth analysis and evaluation of machine learning models.
  • Expertise in analytical tools such as Jupyter, Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
  • Familiarity with various foundation models in GenAI, including VAEs, Transformers, Diffusion Models, NeRF, and CLIP.
  • Experience in training models using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Jax.
  • Proficient in distributed systems and operating systems.
  • Expertise in at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
