About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Computer Vision Models to join our team at Rhombus Systems. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and refining our computer vision models, working closely with our team to ensure the highest quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the most effective methods for evaluating and improving our foundation models, leveraging data-centric AI approaches to drive innovation.
  • Develop and implement novel evaluation and benchmark methods from foundation model literature research, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in computer vision.
  • Design and implement experiments for engineering studies and large-scale user studies, analyzing results to inform model development and improvement.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless integration of computer vision models into our overall product and solution.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and AI, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within our organization.
Requirements
  • BS and a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.
  • Strong background in statistical data analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with in-depth analysis and evaluation of machine learning models.
  • Expertise in video analysis algorithms or subjective/objective video quality algorithms, and pioneering technologies.
  • Experience in training models using frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax, etc.
  • Proficient in distributed systems and a good understanding of operating systems.
  • Expert in at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
  • Self-motivated and curious with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, along with strong collaborative abilities.
