About the Role

Sares Regis Operating Company, L.P. is seeking an experienced Property Management Professional to join our team at our 131-unit community, FountainGlen Jacaranda. As an Assistant Community Manager, you will be responsible for assuming the Community Manager's supervisory responsibilities in their absence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the training and development of the team, including scheduling employee work times.
  • Review daily rent recommendations and proactively identify opportunities to maximize income.
  • Collect current and delinquent rent in accordance with company and property policy, and implement timely legal action, including court appearances.
  • Review move in and move out files for thorough and accurate completion, and verify information is timely and accurately entered into the property software system.
  • Complete or verify completion of accurate and timely weekly reports, and review monthly financial reports with the property manager.
  • Assist the Community Manager in resolving resident and prospective resident conflicts.
  • Read, follow, and implement the company and employee handbooks, property policy manuals, and any other governing documents.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of related property management experience with the ability to pass a fair housing exam.
  • 55+ community experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Knowledge of operations software used at the property level, including Outlook, Internet software, EXCEL, and WORD.
  • Current driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Able to work weekends and overtime as job requires.
