Position Overview:
As a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary examinations while ensuring a smooth workflow and addressing patient needs effectively.

Work Locations:
This position operates across multiple clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound assessments to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Physician to communicate the treatment plan to patients, ensuring it aligns with their specific health requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound facilities before and after patient visits.
  • Perform additional ultrasound evaluations as directed by the Physician to guarantee treatment efficacy and patient safety.
  • Adhere to established timeframes for each ultrasound procedure to facilitate an efficient patient flow throughout the day.
  • Coordinate with office and administrative staff, as well as Physicians, to review ultrasound schedules and ensure optimal technician availability for timely patient care.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and skill enhancement to meet the company's standards of care.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory to support operational efficiency.

Compensation:
Pay rate ranges from $38 to $47.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program is required.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
