As a Vascular Ultrasound Specialist, you will conduct vascular ultrasound assessments of patients' lower limbs and other necessary studies, ensuring a balance between patient needs and the efficient workflow of the clinic. Your role will also involve providing an exceptional service experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound assessments to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the development of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
  • Support the Physician in clarifying the treatment strategy to the patient, addressing their specific requirements.
  • Prepare and sanitize procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound stations before and after each patient visit.
  • Perform additional ultrasound assessments as dictated by the Physician's treatment plan to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Adhere to the designated timeframes for each ultrasound procedure to maintain a smooth patient flow throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with office and administrative staff, as well as Physicians, to review the ultrasound schedule, ensuring the availability of technicians for optimal patient care and safety.
  • Continuously enhance your skills and quality of work to meet the care standards established by the organization through ongoing education and collaboration with fellow Ultrasound Technologists.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory to guarantee effective operational functionality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion certificate from an accredited Ultrasound program, Required
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment, Required
  • Capability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in multitasking, effective prioritization, and teamwork.
