Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Zobility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 30-40 hourly associates and ensuring the safe and productive operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment while leading a team of production associates.
  • Troubleshoot daily equipment issues and resolve process, system, and mechanical failures.
  • Provide clear expectations and hold associates accountable while providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Develop team members to become self-sufficient in completing their work responsibilities effectively.
  • Lead process improvement activities by coordinating cross-functional teams and promoting lean manufacturing practices.
  • Monitor and address output and productivity issues within assigned departments, including meeting production targets, cycle time, and product and process quality standards.
  • Directly supervise hourly associates and direct resources as required.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, setup, and running of production activities.
  • Manage the dispersal and distribution of materials for production.
  • Maintain labor and material requirements to meet the daily production schedule.
  • Oversee the work of production associates and coordinate with leaders of production support staff, communicating expectations and providing direction and training.
  • Monitor work performance and provide feedback.
  • Coordinate maintenance of production equipment.
  • Oversee process control and quality process control.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead, manage, and motivate the production team in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Performance, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with high-performance work teams.
  • High level of initiative and assertiveness, along with ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to analyze short- and long-term objectives and make good decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic work environment while continually managing resources and striving for excellence.
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.
  • Willingness to work weekends as required.
Skills Required
  • Some knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is helpful.
Experience Required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
