Job Overview

Inception Fertility Corporate Services is in search of a Chief Revenue Cycle Officer who will oversee the comprehensive management of all Revenue Cycle operations across North America. This executive will lead, coordinate, and execute initiatives to ensure the effective functioning of the organization's Revenue Cycle processes, aimed at generating adequate cash flow to support operational needs and strategic goals.

The Chief Revenue Cycle Officer will also be tasked with identifying, analyzing, mitigating, and resolving all Revenue Cycle challenges. This role requires the development and maintenance of strong relationships with administrative teams, clinical departments, and physician leadership throughout the organization. Furthermore, the officer will foster collaborative relationships with key external entities, including other healthcare providers, payers, government agencies, and relevant professional associations.

All facets of the Revenue Cycle will report to the Chief Revenue Cycle Officer, encompassing: Authorization Management, Insurance Verification, Health Information Management, Medical Billing, Revenue Integrity, Physician Services, and Operational Strategy and Optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee revenue cycle operations to ensure cost efficiency, organizational effectiveness, and optimal collection rates.
  • Communicate Revenue Cycle departmental activities to senior management, focusing on cash flow, organizational profitability, customer service, Accounts Receivable outcomes, and revenue enhancement initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and lead various quality improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing monitoring and enhancements within the revenue cycle framework. This includes managing departmental operating and capital budgets within established limits to achieve operational efficiencies and meet performance targets.
  • Establish and manage relationships with third-party vendors as required.
  • Create a structure for innovation and promote cross-departmental collaboration to enhance care delivery and patient experience.
  • Exemplify leadership behaviors and unify teams to drive organizational alignment.
  • Direct the strategic goals and objectives of the department to align with the overall business plan of Inception Fertility Corporate Services.
  • Manage, communicate, and pursue enterprise Accounts Receivable objectives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze trends in Key Performance Metrics to inform management decisions aimed at achieving revenue cycle goals and enhancing the overall financial performance of the organization.
  • Ensure that robust controls are in place throughout the organization to foster accountability and effective management of the Revenue Cycle.
  • Stay informed on regulatory, payer, and contractual changes impacting the revenue cycle to ensure compliance.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, continuously assessing and refining the organizational structure to meet performance goals.
  • Facilitate communication, coordination, and implementation of any enterprise business processes or information systems affected by regulatory, industry, payer, federal, or state requirements.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Over 8 years of progressive management experience in the healthcare receivables sector, demonstrating increasing responsibilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of multi-site outpatient revenue cycle operations is essential.
  • A proven track record of attracting, engaging, and retaining talent while effectively leading teams.
  • Significant experience with payers and providers, with a deep understanding of the requirements for managing accounts receivable resolution, cash flow, billing, revenue enhancement, and patient service issues.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various audience levels.
