Position Summary:
Accountable for delivering a premium dining experience in a bustling restaurant and lounge setting. Oversees the culinary line operations and upholds food quality and presentation standards as dictated by the Executive Chef. Additionally, assists in catering services, ensuring high-quality food for events. Candidates should possess strong leadership abilities and a desire to innovate menu offerings while staying abreast of current culinary trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Safety and Standards: Implement and monitor food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Quality Control: Regularly audit and uphold standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Team Development: Conduct bi-weekly meetings with culinary staff and mentor team members to enhance their skills.
- Operational Leadership: Participate in daily operations management, including forecasting and staffing.
- Guest Engagement: Actively seek guest feedback and ensure high service standards during peak times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in Kitchen Management.
- 4 years in a high-volume culinary environment.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Proficient in inventory and waste management.
- Passionate about culinary arts with extensive knowledge of the industry.
- Ability to step into a leadership role when necessary.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
The expected salary range for this position is competitive and based on various factors.
