Role Summary:

StateFire DC Specialties is a reputable organization specializing in the installation and maintenance of fire safety systems, including fire alarms, monitoring systems, and suppression solutions. We are expanding our operations and seeking skilled Fire Alarm Technicians to support ongoing projects in the Boise, ID area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete daily safety documentation, including Field Level Risk Assessments and job site inspections.
  • Respond to maintenance service requests and emergency calls as required.
  • Travel to various locations as needed to meet project demands.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment during all service and installation tasks.
  • Assist in the installation and upkeep of fire alarm systems and related equipment.
  • Oversee subcontractors and collaborate with team members to ensure project completion.
  • Maintain effective communication with Project Managers and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with vendors for material and labor needs.
Qualifications:
  • NICET Level 1 certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Possession of an Idaho Limited Energy License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in low voltage systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 70 pounds.
  • Capability to work in various environments, including confined spaces.
  • Comfortable with heights and using ladders and scaffolding.
