Fire Alarm Inspector

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team at Western States Fire Protection. As a Fire Alarm Inspector, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting fire alarm systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly and meet industry standards.
- Identify and report any defects or malfunctions in fire alarm systems and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct site visits to inspect and test fire alarm systems, and provide detailed reports of findings.
- Collaborate with project managers, schedule coordinators, and office administrative staff to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to clients.
- Provide training to apprentices on company procedures, system inspection, and installation techniques.
- Complete additional projects as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training preferred.
- Limited Energy Class A certification required.
- Strong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes preferred.
- Ability to perform testing and maintenance, and complete documentation as necessary.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
