Job Title: Concrete Foundation Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foundation Foreman to lead our residential concrete foundation crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the completion of residential home foundation concrete footers, ensuring timely completion of jobs, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a crew in the completion of residential home foundation concrete footers
  • Complete jobs in a timely manner by scheduling and overseeing the work crew, ensuring equipment and materials are sufficient
  • Repair and maintain equipment, train crews, and assist with special projects as assigned
  • Handle communications with residents, place barricades for special events, and document completed work
  • Strive for 100% customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Three years of experience with concrete residential foundations
  • At least one year of supervisory experience; proven ability to lead crews
  • At least one to three years' general construction experience
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings; ability to read grades on stakes and maps
  • Ability to use all types of hand tools
  • Ability to create effective working relationships with employees and the public; ability to effectively motivate employees to work

May be expected to travel out of town to work on projects. May usually work irregular hours and often work early mornings and during weekends and may also do shift work and be on call. Generally, work longer hours in summer. Work in most weather conditions and in conditions that may be noisy, wet, cold, dirty, and dusty.

While performing the duties of this job, you may regularly be required to reach with hands and arms, frequently be required to stand; talk or hear; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls. You would occasionally be required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You will frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 120 pounds. You will need good vision abilities due to working at a jobsite, which include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
