This role, also referred to as a Quality Auditor, involves conducting thorough audits and assessments of products to ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and food safety regulations. Below are the essential details for your consideration:

Position Title: Quality Auditor

Employment Type: Full-time/Direct Hire

Available Shifts: 2nd and 3rd shifts

Compensation: $17-25/hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily measurements and inspections according to specific work instructions.
  • Conduct audits on machinery each day and document findings.
  • Identify and report non-conforming products using an NCP report, alerting supervisors to any issues.
  • Inspect incoming materials as necessary and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and SQF standards.
  • Carry out monthly food safety audits and document results.
  • Organize and manage quality laboratory records.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions to address customer concerns.
  • Perform operator tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity within a manufacturing setting is essential.
  • Basic skills in blueprint reading are required.
  • Strong understanding of FDA/GMP regulations is necessary.
  • Familiarity with the plastic injection molding process and the ability to identify defects is crucial.

This position demands a strong communicator who excels in teamwork and can operate effectively with minimal supervision. This role is vital to the company's operations and requires exceptional attention to detail.
