Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Shearer's Foods. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our snack food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory testing and analysis to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Monitor facility operations to ensure compliance with corporate quality requirements, SQF, labeling, GMP's, food safety, and other relevant standards
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure proper checks are in place and communicate quality results
  • Train and prepare for audits, document results in record-keeping databases, and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Experience as a Quality Technician preferred
  • Good attendance and reliability are essential for this skilled position
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to creating a safe and healthy workplace
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and effectively communicate with team members
  • Basic computer skills required to run production and perform verifications
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed
