We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at Northwestern Medicine. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation services.
Job Summary:The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical and cognitive impairments. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise and passion for physical therapy will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate patients to identify physical and cognitive impairments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide high-quality patient care, including physical therapy interventions, education, and support
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in physical therapy
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
