Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Join Fresenius Medical Care North America as an Interventional Radiology Technologist and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures, operating and maintaining radiological equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures, including preparing patients, setting up equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Operate and maintain radiological equipment, including C-Arms and ultrasound machines, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct quality control checks on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, including documenting procedures and patient information.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest radiology techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current ARRT certification and/or state licensure (as per state regulations).
  • 1 year of experience in radiology or a related field, with a focus on interventional procedures.
  • Working knowledge of radiological equipment, including C-Arms and ultrasound machines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
