Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Type: Contract/Temporary/Travel

Location: BRIDGEPORT, CT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Bridgeport, CT. As a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex specialized tasks, including operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures
  • Operate radiographic equipment to capture high-quality images
  • Assist radiologists in performing exams and providing clinical excellence
  • Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak, and other clinical systems
  • Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification
  • Assist the supervisor in maintaining an adequate level of supplies required for patient care

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Independent decision-making skills
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees
  • Capable of maintaining regular attendance
  • Meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment

Work Experience:

At least 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist

Pay Package:

Competitive pay package based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
