Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a travel healthcare professional, you will have the opportunity to work in various locations across the country, gaining valuable experience and building your skills.

Job Summary:

The Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of complex specialized tasks, including operating radiographic equipment to perform vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. You will work closely with radiologists to ensure clinical excellence and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic procedures, including angiographic and interventional procedures
  • Operate radiographic equipment, including fluoroscopy and CT scanners
  • Develop and maintain skills in various clinical systems, including McKesson RIS and PACS
  • Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification
  • Assist radiologists in performing exams and providing clinical excellence
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Independent decision-making skills
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees
