The incumbent will play a pivotal role in enhancing reliability and driving continuous improvement in both current and future manufacturing systems. Additionally, this position will be a vital resource for advancing automation and integration with enterprise systems.
Collaboration with maintenance and production teams is essential to enhance equipment reliability, maintainability, and sustainable production output through the use of Preventive and Predictive maintenance tools, as well as thorough analysis of equipment failures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing existing manufacturing systems and implementing strategies to improve safety, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Planning and coordinating major projects and Preventive Maintenance initiatives.
- Providing hands-on technical support and troubleshooting to address root causes of issues.
- Interpreting process sheets and blueprints effectively.
- Creating and maintaining essential maintenance documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, and standardized downtime reports.
- Developing documentation such as Standard PM and PdM Plans.
The primary objective of this position is to assist in formulating and executing maintenance strategies aimed at predictive approaches to enhance equipment health through Smart Manufacturing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thermography and structural NDE (VT, MT, UT).
- Performing vibration analysis and motor alignment.
- Utilizing ultrasonic leak detection and oil analysis.
- Diagnosing hydraulic circuits and troubleshooting effectively.
- Supporting equipment OEE targets and engaging in frontline problem-solving and FMEA.
- Identifying and prioritizing projects that minimize unplanned downtime and maintenance time.
- Coordinating and scheduling maintenance plans in alignment with production and maintenance planning.
- Mitigating risks associated with system malfunctions.
- Detecting potential downtime issues through testing and FMEA, and executing solutions to resolution.
- Identifying opportunities for energy savings through cost and feasibility analyses.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
- Willingness to work off-shift as required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
This position requires access to controlled technology as defined by relevant regulations. Candidates must meet eligibility criteria to access controlled technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current knowledge of advanced industrial automation technologies, including MET, EECT, and Robotics.
- Experience in implementing reliability-focused strategies.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with data-driven equipment performance monitoring.
- Reliability certifications (CRE, ASQ, SMRP, etc.) are advantageous.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance planning processes.
- Ability to drive changes within the plant reliability program.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Strong focus on safety and a comprehensive understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance planning systems.
- Experience with analytics and predictive technologies is preferred.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a structured approach to identifying root causes and recommending solutions.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects to meet objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
