Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review 10Q, 10K, and 8K reports for SEC filing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Accounting: Stay up-to-date with new accounting standards and update or create new accounting policies as needed.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct technical accounting research and prepare memos to support financial reporting decisions.
  • Contract and License Management: Track contracts and licenses to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • XBRL Reporting: Prepare XBRL reports for SEC filing.
  • Month-End Close: Assist with the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Annual Audit: Assist with the annual financial statement audit to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • MD&A Reporting: Prepare MD&A reports to provide management analysis and insights.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of public accounting, financial reporting, and/or SEC reporting experience.
  • CPA Certification: Must be an active CPA.
  • Advanced Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills are required.
