Job Summary

Apple is seeking a highly skilled Production Finance Executive to support the financial management of Series productions worldwide. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Production Finance and collaborate with Creative, Business Affairs, and Legal teams to ensure the efficient financial oversight and management of Apple TV+ productions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the financial management of budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and daily production activity of Series productions
  • Oversee timely production cost reporting and analyze actuals vs budgets cost reports to ensure accuracy and quickly resolve any issues
  • Collaborate with Creative, Business Affairs, and Legal in the creation and vetting of production budgets and strategically resolve issues to ensure an efficient process
  • Identify Production Tax Incentive opportunities, oversee and track estimates, timing of receipts, and required audits
  • Review production cash flow projections and funding requests for accuracy and compliance with contracts
  • Assist in the contract review and cost analysis process in conjunction with Production, Business Affairs, Legal, and Labor
  • Ensure productions follow Production Finance policies and procedures
  • Manage the setup of production accounting payroll and systems software
  • Ad hoc financial analysis as needed

Requirements

7+ years of experience in Series television production finance management and reporting. Preferred qualifications include experience with production tax incentives and related filing process, working knowledge and experience with union/guild agreements and production payroll, proficiency in production accounting software (Smart Accounting, PSL), Movie Magic Budgeting, and Excel. The ideal candidate will be a proactive thinker who can prioritize and manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and possess strong organizational, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $152,800 and $230,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
