The Cybersecurity Specialist will serve as a technical advisor for Schneider Electric, adept at identifying and discussing new Cybersecurity opportunities with clients and Account Managers.
This role presents the chance to spearhead client engagements while also contributing to internal process enhancements, ensuring the team has the best resources and structure to exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to effectively implement Cybersecurity solutions and related applications.
- Provide technical direction, including design, implementation, and knowledge transfer of various Cybersecurity solutions.
- Conduct initial meetings with clients to align all stakeholders on project scope, necessary inputs, and delivery expectations.
- Lead Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (F/SAT).
- Ensure all necessary infrastructure to support the engagement is established.
- Occasionally act as a requirements analyst to keep clients informed about the latest Cybersecurity offerings.
- Facilitate communication between clients and the Schneider Electric Process Automation Cybersecurity team.
- Research Cybersecurity solutions to ensure adherence to the latest versions and best practices during implementations.
- Conduct OT Cybersecurity vulnerability assessments in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Support OT Cybersecurity tabletop exercises at client locations.
- Perform additional Cybersecurity engineering, documentation, standardization, or training tasks as required.
Reporting Structure: You will report to the Cybersecurity Delivery Manager.
Qualifications for Success:
- 5+ years of experience in the Operational Technology sector.
- Familiarity with DCS, Triconex, and PLC communications.
- Proven ability to collaborate with executive leadership.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and achieving timely results that meet expectations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Confidence and curiosity about new and diverse technologies.
- Experience with IEC62443, NIST Standards, and NERC-CIP.
- Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and risk assessments.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Active Directory.
- Proficient in Windows Server and Workstation OS.
- Experience with Hyper-V and VMWare virtualization.
- Solid understanding of network design and defense-in-depth strategies.
- Familiarity with IACS cybersecurity practices.
- Experience with Patch Management and Backup solutions.
- Knowledge of Endpoint Protection Implementation.
- Active certifications are a plus.
