About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Manager to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing clinical and program development within the OR to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, with experience in managing surgical services and overseeing professional nursing practice. You will be responsible for ensuring quality patient care for patients in various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of professional nursing practice
  • Planning, management, and operation of surgical service
  • Ensuring quality patient care for patients in various age groups
  • Collaboration with the Nursing Director and Associate Chief Nurse
  • Assurance of the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field, or enrollment in program preferred
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required
  • 3-5 years of progressive leadership development, management experience preferred
