Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Manager

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

About the Role:

The Operating Room Nurse Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in the Operating Room. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient flow and care
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and competent team
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • Current/valid nursing license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required
  • Perioperative experience required with a minimum of 3 years current Operating Room experience
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred
  • CNOR preferred
