Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Manager

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative services team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, including recruitment, selection, and development of staff members.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice and technology, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current/valid nursing license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
  • Perioperative experience required with a minimum of 3 years current Operating Room experience.
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • CNOR preferred.
