Clinical Educator

DCI Donor Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clinical staff are well-prepared to facilitate organ donation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff to ensure consistent and uniform standards of practice.
- Facilitate clinical staff training from new hire orientation to ongoing education, including areas such as referral and donor management, allocation, and recovery.
- Assist with employee evaluation of core clinical competency trainings and overall assessments.
- Create and maintain various forms of curriculum for staff on a variety of clinical topics and concepts.
- Participate in field and desktop audits to identify opportunities for improvement and evaluate training needs.
- Utilize performance data and trending to identify training needs.
- 2+ years prior experience as Organ Recovery Coordinator or related healthcare role.
- 2+ years prior experience as a preceptor/trainer.
- OPO experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement training curriculum.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and multitask.
- Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
- Registered Nursing (RN) License preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
