Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team. As a Clinical Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for our clinical staff, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate organ donation. This is a critical role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff, including new hire orientation, ongoing education, and specialized training in areas such as referral and donor management, allocation, and recovery.
- Curriculum Development: Create and maintain various forms of curriculum for staff on a variety of clinical topics and concepts.
- Performance Improvement: Participate in field and desktop audits to identify opportunities for improvement and evaluate training needs.
- Training Needs Assessment: Utilize performance data and trending to identify training needs and develop targeted training programs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with clinical staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that training programs meet the needs of the organization and are aligned with our mission and goals.
- Experience: 2+ years prior experience as an Organ Recovery Coordinator or related healthcare role, with a strong background in training and development.
- Education: Registered Nursing (RN) License preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to exercise independent judgment and multitask.
