Job Summary:
Leidos is seeking a Network Security Manager to lead a team of security analysts and system administrators in supporting a large enterprise network system. The ideal candidate will have experience in network security technologies, including firewalls, Web Filtering, and Intrusion Detection Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support to the health agency and prioritize, assign, and oversee completion of security and network performance engineering staff tasks.
- Ensure operational security objectives are met and perform project planning and estimating for new security tasks.
- Implement and maintain the program cybersecurity plan and develop security standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with the program Information Systems Security Officer to ensure IT security audits are conducted on schedule.
- Provide operational oversight, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning for the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8-12 years of Network Security experience for large enterprise networks and security services.
- Five years experience in leading teams of 5-15 security analysts and system administrators.
- Knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, Web Filtering, and Intrusion Detection Systems.
