At ESC, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust communication systems that support our global operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure design, implementation, and optimization, with expertise in Cisco network hardware, VMware environments, and virtual and physical Internet Protocol networks. Experience with routing protocols, fiber channel networks, and low-bandwidth network security is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure and efficient network architectures
  • Optimize existing network infrastructure for improved performance and scalability
  • Develop and maintain network architecture specifications and artifacts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other IT systems

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in network architecture and design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification
  • Experience with VMware, virtualization, and cloud computing
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
